Along the roughly 2.7 km waterfall trail, maples and other broadleaf trees turn crimson and gold, framing the 33 m Minoo Falls in one of Osaka's most famous autumn-leaf ravines.

Where to See the Autumn Leaves

Minoo Falls (Minoo-otaki) (Free)

The park's signature waterfall, framed by maples at its peak; the climax of the valley walk from Minoo Station.
About a 40-50 minute walk up the waterfall trail (Takimichi) from Hankyu Minoo Station.

Takimichi (Waterfall Trail) (Free)

The paved streamside path linking the station to the falls, lined with maples and small temples where autumn colour builds up along the walk.
Starts about a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Minoo Station at the Ichi-no-hashi park entrance.

Getting There

From central Osaka take the Hankyu Takarazuka Line to Ishibashi-handai-mae and transfer to the Hankyu Minoo Line for Minoo Station; the park entrance is about a 5-minute walk and the falls about 40-50 minutes on foot. There is no parking inside the park and private vehicles are prohibited, so public transport is recommended.
